Undoubtedly, the Upholstered Wood Drawer Storage Bench is a beautiful piece of furniture. The wood is rich and smooth, and the upholstery is soft and inviting. It’s a bench that you’ll love having in your home, but it also has a secret: those gorgeous wooden panels open to reveal four spacious drawers where you can store your linens, blankets, or even board games.

The drawer fronts are upholstered too—add to that the metal drawer pulls and the elegant straight legs, and we think this storage bench might be the most gorgeous one we’ve ever seen.

It’s Sturdy Enough

It’s sturdy enough for sitting on, with a 300-pound weight capacity; it would be an excellent place to sit when putting on shoes or taking them off. But it’s also just as comfortable as any armchair or loveseat, so we don’t blame you if you want to move this piece into your living room instead! It’s perfect for reading, relaxing, or watching TV.

This bench comes assembled; all you have to do is place it where you want it. Plus it only weighs 40 pounds so it won’t take too much effort to move around your home until you find the right spot for it.

The Drawers Are Deep Enough

The drawers are deep enough to hold all of their toys (there are three drawers, which is perfect because each kid has their own drawer), but not so deep that they can’t get anything out. The upholstery is good quality, although my kids immediately got dirt on it. It’s easy to spot clean by hand, though.

My only suggestion would be to have some kind of hook-and-loop closure on the drawers—that way you could keep them closed if you wanted to use the bench for seating (we have no intention of ever using it for seating). But overall, I’m thrilled with our purchase!
